Team Randy

Randall Cline, a devoted advocate within the ALS community, passed away peacefully at home on August 17th. His gratitude for the support he received from ALS United Orange County inspired him to give back, spreading awareness and offering others a glimpse into his life as a patient living with ALS.

Randall was an active and beloved member of the community. He attended most in-person support group meetings, spoke passionately at golf tournaments, and was honored as the guest of the 26th Annual ALS Marathon. Through these efforts, he connected with many remarkable individuals, including fellow patients and their loved ones, who are also fighting this challenging disease.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has reached out to us during this difficult time. We are deeply grateful for the compassionate support of this incredible community and for the cherished time we had with Randall.

Our journey with ALS does not end here, as it will forever be a part of our lives. Just as Randall was thankful for this community, so are we.

ABOUT ALS

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.

ALS can strike anyone. Presently there is no known cause of the disease, yet it still costs loved ones an average of $250,000 a year to provide the care people living with ALS and their families need. Join the movement to provide help and hope today!
